This pack will prove to be a useful addition to modellers wishing to add a little bit more authenticity and realism to coal mines their layouts.
The signage is authentic with original artwork having been developed from photographs and documents. The pack includes some weathered signs that would have been around for decades as well as those that show nationalisation ownership.
National Coal Board 1947-67: Coal mines were nationalised by the Labour government in January 1947 and came into public ownership. The signage in this particular pack reflects the change in ownership and also has lots of signage that would be around for years before and after this time.

British Road Services was established as a nationalised company at the same time as British Railways in 1948. For modellers, depots could be stand-alone establishments or rail linked to allow the more effective handing of parcels and goods. These packs are designed to give you a wide range of signage that might be found around a such a depot. As well as the named signs (customised to the name that you want), the packs include a wealth of general directional and instructional signs to help bring your model to life. These posters were often applied to the sides of vans particularly in the 1950s & 60s. Period photographs show them on goods stock. These were often applied to block trains for ease of identification. These self adhesive labels will provide your freight stock with additional detail and authenticity.
