The Brick wall Faded or 'Ghost' Advertising signs are primarily designed to be used with card kits such as those in the Metcalfe and Superquick ranges. However with care they can also be used on models made of other materials. These signs used by the Southern Railway were very distinctive; we have developed a special typeface to match the unique one used by the Southern Railway so that these signs can be as authentic as possible. Made from enamelled metal the 'target' signs were attached to lamp posts or hung from canopies.The A6 pack also includes running-in boards and signage for a signal box.
